In early June, summer is almost here. Farmers markets are open nearly every day of the week across Alaska and there are so many festivals and events, it's hard to choose which to attend! You'll have to wait until later in the month for the year's first strawberries to make those strawberry rhubarb pies, but radishes and turnips are ripe for the picking.
